"The whole difference between construction and creation is exactly this: That a thing constructed can only be loved after it is constructed; but a thing created is loved before it exists."

The Burrow Today

It's been a long, challenging winter.

But the last couple of weeks my mini mojo has revealed itself again and I've been going great guns on both the Casa and the Burrow.
They are both in the indelicate stage of completion where frankly, they look a bit of a mess.  But I can see how much I've got figured out and where I'm going with them and boy it's exciting.  And it's getting closer!
So without revealing too much of my two houses in their slightly, indecent, undressed state I wanted to share a wee bit of the building excitement here!

This is the Burrow seen from the back - with the living room viable on the main floor.  As you may recall, I am taking my inspiration for the build primarily from the books.  If JK mentioned it or specified its location, it's in this build - with the exception of the garden, pond, Mr.Weasley's shed etc.- the base that the house will finally rest in will have suggestions of the surroundings, but that's it.  :)   Mr. Weasley's muggle collection will be housed in a small office-type area perched on a landing outside their bedroom.
The overall style of house is rather influenced by the design for the movies, because really, they did a beautiful job and it warms my heart.  :)

If you look closely, you can see Molly resting a while in the opening that will be the window of Percy's room; from which he would shout out at his siblings in the garden.

I hope you are all seeing fledgling signs of spring too - oh how I hope the mini-mojo stays awhile!  :)

Wow, this looks like a tricky build, but it is coming along nicely. I hope you get to finishing it. I am anxious to see the completed house in the near future.

Think positive!

Cheers
